BTMS

Introduction
BTMS (Behentrimonium Methosulfate) is a conditioning emulsifier and cationic surfactant derived from rapeseed (canola) oil. It is widely used in hair care formulations for its excellent detangling, softening, and conditioning properties. BTMS is gentle on hair and scalp, non-irritating, and provides a silky, smooth feel without buildup.
BTMS is commonly supplied blended with fatty alcohols (such as cetyl or cetearyl alcohol) to improve ease of formulation and performance.
